Julie & Julia

A movie based on a book - a book based on real life - the author, tries blog, and learns to cook, using a famous cook book - story of how the cook book came to be written.

That's how you can summerize this delightful comedy. It can be quite tricky, trying to juggle two stories, based in different timelines, but Nora Ephron(director/writer/screenplay handles it seamlessly. If you remember her earlier movies(like Harry Met Sally), she completely lives up to her reputation.

Saying that, this movie is not a romantic comedy, it is about passion, about finding yourself and doing what you like. And above all it is about finding Happiness...
Two women, different era, one passion - Cooking!

Go out there and watch the movie, then do something you really love to do.

All along, try to fix the cube...

Hey Ashish,

I would call it a unconventional comedy, but the movie is surely better than the trailer. Even i went in with zero expectations, but it turned out well. Also coupled with amazing performances by all the actors!
